The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially scheduled its 32nd Ordinary Congress for Thursday, August 20, 2026.The congress will bring together key stakeholders to deliberate on issues concerning the administration, development and future direction of football in Ghana.
The annual statutory meeting, which is being organised in accordance with Article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes, will be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The Congress remains one of the most important events on the GFA’s calendar, providing a platform for members of the Association to review the past football season, assess ongoing programmes and make decisions that could shape the future of the game.
The 32nd Ordinary Congress is expected to cover a wide range of issues, including competitions, football development, governance, administration and strategic plans for the upcoming season.
GFA members have been formally notified of the date to allow delegates adequate time to prepare for the meeting. In accordance with the Association’s statutes, a formal convocation will also be circulated ahead of the Congress.
The document is expected to include the agenda, activity reports, financial statements and auditors’ report, giving delegates the opportunity to review and scrutinise the Association’s activities and financial performance.
